The transaction number 652-21-1-165-0018. . Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount: Portable Bedside Monitor for displaying patient information. This monitor provides a one-time view of patient information for the clinician. $35,007.80. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: Brand name only (Phillips MX500) is being requested for this procurement because this equipment is part of a larger system. The bedside patient monitors apart of the entire patient monitoring system that allows clinician access to an individual patient from any location on the ward. The other components of the system are available on eCAT and were ordered in December 2020. To complete the system, the bedside patient monitors (MX500) are required. Standardization is also in the best interest of the government in case there is a need for maintenance, parts and accessories. Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted: Market research was conducted on by searching Contracting opportunities, GSA, SEWP and FPDS websites. Contracting Officer's Certification: Purchase is approved in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b).
