- The Army has a requirement to provide� Mortuary�Services to the U.S.Army Soldiers and�certain Department of the Army civilians that have been classified as deceased within CONUS to include�Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.� The deceased remains are transported to a servicing mortuary for embalming, dressing, cosmetic work, and shipment to other mortuary/cemetery�for final burial.� Shipment is worldwide.
