Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of a five (5) year, Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair and configuration maintenance of the UxValidator Test Set P/N: 02-1103-01, deemed Not Ready for Issue (NRFI). ULTRAX, Inc. (CAGE: 07PR7) was the selected company to supply the support services for the UxValidator Test Set P/N: 02-1103-01 for the US Navy and FMS partner H-60 helicopters. This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-21-R-00179. The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
