- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. General: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requires the services of a technical representative to assist with installation of a Graviner MK7 Oil Mist Detector system on four Wartsila Main Diesel Engines on U.S. Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) HEALY (WAGB-20). 1.������������ The contractor shall provide the services of a qualified technical representative who is familiar with the Graviner MK7 Oil Mist Detector and has experience installing this system on large marine diesel engines. 2.������������ The technical representative shall: a.������������ Be present to oversee the i.������������� Installation ii.������������ Start-up iii.����������� Commissioning iv.����������� Crew Training� b.������������ Provide manufacturer�s equipment information, and all specialty tools required for installation and servicing. c.������������ Assist with and ensure compliance with industry procedures and standards during installation, calibration, start-up, and commissioning. 3.������������ The period of performance for work is 19 April 2021 � 23 April 2021 4.������������ The location of work is USCG Base Seattle, 1519 Alaskan Way S, Seattle, WA 98134 INTERESTED VENDORS PLEASE SEND OFFICIAL QUOTE, WITH A SAM.GOV REGISTERED DUNS NUMBER, AND EMAIL TO ANTHONY.J.ANDALUZ@USCG.MIL COST BREAKDOWN OF QUOTE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LABOR COST PER HOUR AND MATERIALS IS REQUIRED.
