Please confirm Equipment List to be serviced as per solicitation 14, during walk stated that Bldg. 1 York- transferred to A/C Shop and Carrier Chiller 30RBA250 being replaced? That is correct. Confirm if Carrier replacement chiller to be added to contract post install? Yes. Will Contract be modified to include PM services? Yes. Bldg. 1 PACU York chillers are down (not in service): confirm mechanical issues to be repaired There are several issues with these chillers. Some of which will be repaired before the new contract. timeline for repair We are working to get repairs made ASAP. If not repaired at time contract award or execution; what are the expectations for PM services Any work remaining will be T & M. They will be quoted, and we will issue PO s for repairs outside the scope of the contract. Bldg. 39 Chiller operation: How many chillers are in services at a time? Six chillers. Please provide the as-builts for the chillers. The model numbers and the serial numbers are provided in the PWS and is sufficient for vendors to provide a quote for this requirement. The Blueprint will be available to the awardee if needed. Will contractors be required to take COVID tests prior to working onsite? No, however they are required to be screened and receive an arm band prior to reporting to the CEP. It was stated during the site visit that one of the Air-Cooled Chillers is currently not working and the VA has plans to replace in the near future. Are we still to include pricing for maintenance for this chiller in our bid? We just want to make sure all parties are including the price for this maintenance in their bid. Yes. Please confirm that Eddie Current Testing is to be completed only on the Centrifugal Chillers (Pg.12 of solicitation, building 39 chillers. That is correct. We have Eddy Current performed by even and odd numbered chillers, so this year 2021 all odd numbered chillers evap and condenser had an Eddy Current performed. Next year 2022 it will be all even numbered chillers will be done. Invoicing: Confirm other upon completion i.e. if serviced five (5) chillers in April and five (5) chillers in May, are we permitted to invoice at end of the servicing month? Invoicing will be submitted after the work is completed and accepted by the Government. i.e. CLIN 0001 Quarterly invoices will take place after all the work chillers for that CLIN have been completed and is accepted by the COR for that quarter . The same standard will apply for all CLINs associated with this requirement. Please provide the sign sheets for both walkthroughs. I did not get permission from any of the Vendors to share their information. Sharing of the sheet may be a privacy violation as it does contain the Vendor s DUNS number. Please submit a FOYA request thru the chain for the site visit sign in sheet. Do you have to be a Service Disable Veterans Own Small Business to be considered for this solicitation? Yes What is the name of the Chemical Treatment Company servicing Water Treatment at Facility? Not relevant to the chiller maintenance requirement. When was the last Chemical Treatment performed? Not relevant to the chiller maintenance requirement. Will chemical treatment be coordinated by COR prior to servicing chillers? Not relevant to the chiller maintenance requirement.
