- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 23) Construction Contracting Product Line Team is soliciting for a construction project for the Hot Springs VA Medical Center located in South Dakota where the contractor will provide all transportation, tools, materials, permits, labor, and supervision to accomplish the deliverables described in this project s Statement of Work (SOW), drawings, and specifications, except as may otherwise be specified. This project will replace an existing underground electrical duct bank system which consists of two loops (A-B). Installation of Two sectionalizers at each transformer for a total of Twenty-Four (24) each throughout the campus. Replacement of Five (5) 12,470/240v and One (1) 208v transformers for a total of Six (6) which will include positive pressure and have operating gauges for Temperature and Pressure. Installation of a new duct bank system in an area close to Building 20 and 24. Installation of bollards at transformer locations for equipment protection. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. One Deductive Bid Alternate is included. An Invitation for Bids (IFB) Solicitation Number 36C26321B0001 for this effort will be posted to beta.SAM.gov (www.beta.sam.gov) on or about April 2, 2021. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to submit a bid for this project. An Organized site visit will be held, see the IFB Solicitation for exact date, time, and location. The date for receipt of bids is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday May 4, 2021 (see IFB Solicitation when available for specific information regarding date, time, and public bid opening location.) The successful bidder will be required to provide a Bid Guarantee with their bid and both a Performance and Payment Bond within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is 240 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461.
