- Description
- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Norfolk District, intends to enter into a Firm Fixed-Price contract modification on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) with Woolpert RS&H, LLC 248 W Bute Street, Suite 101 Norfolk VA 23510. The contract requires the Architect-Engineering firm to provide Architect-Engineering services for ongoing needs within the Command. Woolpert RS&H, LLC currently has an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) and the period of performance (PoP) is was established from 18 April 2017 through 17 April 2021. However, this letter serves as notification that there will be a modification to the base contract (W91236-17-D-0004) in effort to extend the PoP for continued service for a 6 month additional months and one (1) 3-month option extension. The contract contains FAR clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term if the Contract which authorizes the Government to extend the term. The term will be extended by a total of six months and one (1) three-month extension, essentially extending the period of performance from 18 April 2021 to 17 January 2022. The new term of the contract will be from 18 April 2017 through 17 October 2021 with one three-month option to take the PoP to 17 January 2022. This will allow USCE Norfolk District the opportunity to award the new IDIQ MATOC and will provide additional time to award the task orders that are currently in process. There will be no increase of the total value/capacity of the base contract nor will there be additional services added to the initial scope of work (SOW). This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.
