Description

Sequel�II services, Clay Center, NE. This is not a solicitation. This is a notification of an intent to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 811219. The Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Clay Center, NE will solicit and award a purchase order to Pacific Biosciences to provide USMARC Sequel�II services. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide this requirement. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Peter Nelson at peter.b.nelson@usda.gov by 04/04/2021. Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since the synopsis is not a request for proposal. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to peter.b.nelson@usda.gov. No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by 04/04.20201 at 1:00 PM EDT, an award will be made to Pacific Biosciences.
