- Description
- This solicitation is issued as a sole source, firm fixed price(FFP) requirement under authority FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Services are required for Chant Engineering Co Inc is the direct manufacturer of this equipment and would be more familiar with the troubleshooting and software/control system programming since the Chant Engineerings drive and control system programs are proprietary. Other companies may be able to troubleshoot the test stands, but Chant has all the technical data for the test stands which the OEM has restrictive rights to perform. No other vendor is approved by the OEM to provide this service. Another vendor could result in numerous problems in the operation and/or damage the two test stands resulting in higher cost. Period of performance is 30 calendar days after date of award. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 336413 with business size standard of 1,250. Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management(SAM) with NAICS code 336413 listed.
