Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award of a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any inquiries are to be made in writing by email to the point of contact, Latasha Winston Contract Specialist. Responses to this notice shall be sent by email to latasha.winston@va.gov by the due date and time of 04-16-2021 by 11:59 p.m. PST. Description of requirement and submittal requirements are below Description: The Contractor shall provide emergency housing and supportive services for homeless Veterans in community based HCHV CERS facilities that offer a safe and secure environment that support their goals for recovery from homelessness in accordance with the HCHV CERS model requirements. Services are expected to consist of 24-hours-a-day/7-days-a-week housing and supportive services for homeless Veterans, many of whom may be dealing with substance use disorders and/or mental illness. The program places an expectation on the Veteran to engage in supportive case management services, and also on the Contractor to provide supportive services, expertise, and guidance that focuses on improving housing stability to ensure a transition from homelessness to permanent, stable housing and ongoing engagement with aftercare and relapse prevention services upon discharge Period of performance: TBD The Government requests capability statements and comments from interested businesses regarding the requirements described above. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on company letterhead.
