This Sources Sought announcement is published FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, pursuant to FAR 15.201(e) Exchanges with Industry.� No solicitation is available. In accordance with FAR 15.202(3), responses to this notice are NOT offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) is seeking to identify sources capable of supporting a one-year firm fixed price type contract for preventative maintenance and remedial repair services of approximately twenty (20) relocatable structures (Structure types may include, but are not limited to: Mobile Office Type Trailers, Modular Structures like Guard Shacks, and Kelly Enclosures) at PNS. Vendor services to provide recurring preventative maintenance services on systems and components that directly support emergency lighting and HVAC systems within relocatable structures. Vendor services to provide material and labor for the remedial maintenance and repair of relocatable structures in accordance with the various components manufactures recommendations. Remedial repairs may include, but are not limited to: Leveling and adjustment, including stairs; Repairs to exterior structure envelope such as roof, walls, doors, and windows to combat the elements and ensure property damage is mitigated; Repair to interior components such as doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and electrical infrastructure; Provide drain clearing and sanitation services. This sources sought notice is a market research tool being utilized to identify potential and eligible firms capable of providing these services prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ). As such, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� If your organization has the potential capacity to accomplish this requirement, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, website address, telephone number, and both the size and type of ownership for the organization and 2) tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims or organizational and staff capability. Please also include: 3) the amount of time that would be required for a technician to respond/arrive to the site (PNS) during a) normal business hours, b) outside of normal business hours, and c) for an emergency.
