Description
Enterprise Energy Management System Request for Information The United States Postal Service (USPS) has developed an Enterprise Energy Management System (EEMS) which it utilizes to manage building temperatures and operational schedules for Roof Top Unit�s at over 800 facilities. The USPS seeks suppliers capable of the design and implementation of low-cost HVAC monitor and control solutions which will integrate with EEMS. Solutions must not only communicate with the existing EEMS but also provide control capabilities through the EEMS application. Suppliers shall be capable of providing products and/or solutions that provide the USPS energy information necessary to make informed decisions about building energy performance. Proposed solutions shall provide the capability to monitor at a minimum the following: Zone Temperature Relative Humidity Operation Schedule Fan Mode Economizer position (if available) The proposed solution shall provide the capability to control at a minimum the following: Zone Temperature Operation Schedule Fan Mode Additional requirements include but are not limited to: The solution will serve as a gateway to transmit real-time data to EEMS. The gateway will reside on the Postal Routed Network and must be compliant with all USPS IT requirements. The gateway must seamlessly communicate with the existing EEMS Niagara platform. All readings should be at a minimum of 15 min intervals The installed solution shall record, store, and trend data for future analysis for 14 days in the event communications are interrupted with EEMS. The installed solution(s) must be IP addressable and communicate with EEMS through one of the following protocol�s: FOX OBIX BACnet OPC SNMP MODBUS TCP No proprietary protocols are allowed. All data must flow from the monitored USPS site directly to the USPS Data Center in Eagan, MN where the EEMS application resides. All monitored data is the property of the USPS with no licensing requirements. On a national scale the USPS seeks suppliers who can: Provide installation and service capabilities Diagnostic & repair services Provide replacement parts Provide the following information in DIGITAL format, PDF preferred, to Robert.c.ramba@usps.gov AND Thomas.m.pio@usps.gov by the due date and time.
