Description

Description of Work: Ship Repair:� Blasting and painting of submarine underwater hull, superstructure, tanks, voids and recesses. Removal and installation of lead ballast.� The place of performance is Naval Submarine Base, Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA.� Award requires certification of SSPC QP-1.� �The Government�s market research is based on FAR Part 10 and the result of market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.� If your organization has the potential capacity and desire to perform these contract supplies, please provide the following information:� Organization Name, CAGE code, address, e-mail address, web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization.� Also state whether or not your intention is to be a primary contractor or a potential subcontractor.� This information may be provided by e-mail to Mike Kegler ( Michael.a.kegler@navy.mil ) and Chris O�Connor ( chris.oconnor1@navy.mil ).
