Description

Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Rome has a requirement for battery replacement for two UPS units.� The contractor shall use and acquire manufacturer recommended procedures, products, and safety measures to perform battery replacement and ensure the batteries and the UPS units are operating properly, in addition to proper disposal of spent batteries.� While preforming the work, the contractor shall remove one string of batteries at a time, clean all connections, inspect all cables and connectors, measure and record the voltage, impedance, and micro-ohms of the new battery strings ensuring appropriate ranges are within the manufacturer�s recommendations, and lace and label all cables.
