Description
APBI Slides Attached 6 Mar 2021 SAVE THE DATE UPDATE SYNOPSIS: Team Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) will host the APG Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) from 2022 April 2021, at APG, MD. Please note that details, including specific organizational briefing schedules, remain subject to change. The goal of the APG APBI is to describe for industry potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; Research and Development; Test and Evaluation; Chemical and Biological Defense; and APG Garrison. The APG APBI will identify potential contracting opportunities that are aligned with the roadmaps of each respective organization, specifically focusing on Fiscal Years 20222023. The APBI slides are anticipated to be posted electronically approximately two weeks prior to the start of the event. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry, as the purpose of the APBI is for the Government to brief upcoming opportunities to industry to help it better understand Army capability requirements and shape its internal development efforts. In addition to the traditional contract opportunity briefings and small business highlights, this years APBI will include breakout and special interest sessions. These sessions will start on Day 1 with a State of APG round table with senior leaders from the APG Centers of Excellence: R&D, Test and Evaluation, C5ISR, Public Health Sciences, and CBRND as well as the APG Garrison. Day 1 and 2 breakout sessions include Total Asset Visibility-Contractor (CECOM), PM EW&C Strategic Planning Guidance, PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate, Position Navigation Timing (PNT) Open Integration Lab and an overview of xTechSearch (ARL). On Day 3 PEO C3T will host sessions on Capability Set 23 and 25, Command Post Modernization Increment 1, and Common Hardware Systems 6. Due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19, the 2021 APBI will be held virtually via MS Teams.
