- Description
- Design Bid Build NC3 Support WRM Storage/Shipping Facility at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.� The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted (open to both large and small businesses) Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request for Proposal (RFP).� NAICS is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition.� Offerors attention is directed to Section 002100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Access requests are due to the provided POC NLT 9 MARCH 2021. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, canceled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT consists of the following: Construction of a 69,945 square-foot NC3 Support WRM storage/shipping facility which includes the reinforced concrete foundation, masonry walls, metal prefabricated insulated� construction, standing seam metal roof, utilities, HVAC, fire detection/protection, air ventilation/exhaust, large roll-up door entrances, pavements, access road, office space, restroom/shower facilities, kitchen area, site improvements, landscaping and all necessary supporting work for a complete usable facility. The project also involves demolition of six existing structures, approximately 20,000 square-feet, with the appropriate disposal of resulting materials. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors' responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the beta.sam system. Beta.sam is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested offerors must register with beta.sam or they will not be able to download information from the site. Registration instructions can be found on the website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Contractors registered on beta.sam may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet AFTER SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. Offerors are encouraged to post notices of prospective subcontracting opportunities on the website.
