- Description
- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic contract which will include multiple NSNs to support various weapon systems/operational platforms. �It is anticipated that 23 NSNs will be priced for the initial contract award (see attached).� The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1.� The 23 NSNs to be priced for this effort are sole source to Woodard HRT, Inc.� Thomas Instrument is Woodward�s exclusive licensee and manufacturer of these NSNs.� The proposed sole source contract will be issued to Thomas Instrument, CAGE: 5H860. The proposed contract will be for a total 10-year period of performance.� This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort.� The proposed contract will be a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type Contract with Prospective Price Redetermination (FAR 16.503).� The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action.� If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. A letter solicitation will be issued for this procurement action.� Please contact the Contracting Officer, Leomia Craddock-Hampton, at Leomia.Craddock-Hampton@dla.mil for further details regarding the letter solicitation. These items have been identified as sole source however some items may have history showing awards to other than the OEM.� Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM are required by (4/21/2021) and should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified.� A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and DLA Aviation SBA PCR (Tammy.Birdsong@dla.mil).
