COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #:��� N0017821Q6795 Submitted by: Marcia Rennie NAICS Code: �334416 FSC Code: 6130 Anticipated Date to be published in beta.SAM.gov:� 6 April 2021 Anticipated Closing Date: �15 April 2021 Contracts POC Name:� Marcia Rennie Telephone#:� 540-653-9865 Email Address:� Marcia.rennie@navy.mil Code and Description: �61 - Electric Wire, Power Distrib Eqpt This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.��� Synopsis/Solicitation N0017821Q6795 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached SF18.� The SF18 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System.� This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a Brand Name basis for Vishay Power Supply. The power supply is fully tested and proven to meet the temperature, shock, vibration, and EMI environments inside the electronics console.� If another supplier were to develop a power supply meeting the requirements, the cost to the Navy for validation, testing, and approval is estimated to exceed $3,500,000.00 and require 1.5 man-years of direct government labor. Please see attached SF18. Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 224418-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13.� The order shall be firm fixed price.�� Vendors MUST be an authorized distributor/reseller for Vishay American, Inc. Please provide a copy of your distributor/reseller Letter of Authorization from Vishay American, Inc. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing.� Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
