THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. �THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, is issuing this sources sought notice for a Design/Build project entitled Fire Alarm System Replacement at the�Reynaldo Garza and�Filemon Vela Federal Courthouse Building in Brownsville, Texas.��The scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to the replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new voice communication fire alarm system in accordance with NFPA 72 and P-100 design guide.�The Brownsville Courthouse is a five-story including basement and penthouse�completed in 1999, consisting of 195,870�square feet. The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this sources sought, please indicate your: (1) interest as a contractor, (2) whether or not your company is a small business and any socio-economic category your company may qualify as, (3) brief description of your firm�s past experience completing the replacement of a fire alarm system,�(4) a complete and current record of your System for Award Management (SAM-www.sam.gov) information which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, web site address, telephone number, type of organization, and small business type(s) and (5) a list of any certifications or licenses your firm possesses related to fire alarm installation or replacement. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 300 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only.� Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a ""Best Value Concept"" methodology. � Submit this information to the Contract Officer listed below via e-mail only. No phone calls or faxes expressing interest will be accepted.
