- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Fluke Biomedical Corporation, 28755 Aurora Road, Cleveland, OH 44139. This requirement will consist of the contractor providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the required service for the calibration and repair of approximately 25 different types of Fluke instruments. The Contractor shall calibrate and repair the Army Medical Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Fluke devices to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.� All TMDE calibrations and services shall be traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.� All repair parts used to calibrate and repair the TMDE Fluke medical devices and medical equipment shall be new OEM parts.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The estimated period of performance is 1 June 2021 through 31 May 2026. The HRCO intends to solicit and negotiate only with Fluke Biomedical, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1).
