- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO LIMIT SOURCES, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). AN RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. N00174-21-R-0058 RAM5 Mixing Vessels and Accessories Classification Code: 3650 NAICS Code: 423830 This notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award on a sole source bases a contract to Resodyn Acoustic Mixer, for Resonant Acoustic Mixer (RAM) 5 mixing vessels and accessories needed for the RAM5 mixer at NSWC IHD, �Award is expected to be made in July 2021. Place of performance is at contractor site. Delivery destinations are NSWC IHD, 5021 Safe Haven Way, Building 1103, Indian Head, MD 20640. Resodyn holds the patent for this unique mixing technology and is the only supplier with the design expertise and test capabilities to ensure their mixing vessels can safely operate continually at the resonance frequency, with RAM5 mixers. The Identified Source: ����������� Resodyn Acoustic Mixers ����������� 130 North Main Street, Suite 630 ����������� Butte, Montana 59701 USA ����������� Cage Code: 5GK13 ������������ Business Size: Small Business The scope of this contract purchase will include the following: Mixing vessels and lids of varying capacity that are needed to improve adaptability of RAM-5 mixing batch production processes.� Associated equipment, such as gaskets and clamp assemblies, are needed to accommodate multiple consecutive mixes. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a Sole Source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Sole Source as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.� Please direct any questions or concerns to Waylin Duhon at Waylin.Duhon@navy.mil. This will be a sole source procurement.� NAICS Code (423830); FSC Code 3650.� The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
