- This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) notice for planning purposes only. This RFI is issued for determining potential technologies and capabilities to consider for the future of Naval Aviation from industry and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services identified in response to this notice. No solicitation documents exist at this time. Participation in this RFI is neither mandatory nor is it requisite to future participation by a contractor in any potential future solicitations/contracts. The Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)) is planning to host a Virtual Industry Day in order to provide opportunities for industry to learn about the technology needs of PEO(T) with the potential for follow-on briefings regarding technologies that industry has developed. This opportunity is open to all companies that have new and innovative ideas to support the future of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and PEO(T) Programs. PEO(T)�s Virtual Industry Day 2021 will occur 18 and 19 May 2021. About the Event: UNCLASSIFIED SESSIONS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC PEO(T) Virtual Industry Day 2021 will consist of unclassified, public-released information to business representatives from a variety of backgrounds that will range from major defense contractors to an entrepreneur with no military knowledge or experience. A live, virtual event via Department of Defense Commercial Virtual Environment will be available on May 18th to registered participants. Speakers will include Rear Admiral Shane G. Gahagan, PEO(T) and each of the twelve program managers within the PEO's portfolio. Their remarks will be followed by a live Q&A session. On May 19th, there will be opportunities for 10 minute one-on-one conference calls with program representatives. Businesses that would like to participate will need to schedule in advance when registering for the event. **PLEASE NOTE: Virtual Industry Day and the one-on-one conference calls will be entirely UNCLASSIFIED.** ***Requirements to Participate in PEO(T) Virtual Industry Day 2021*** PEO(T) intends to provide a registration site as an update to this announcement NLT 06 April 2021. Registration will need to be completed in advance. Registration is required to participate in Virtual Industry Day. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis through May 14th, 2021 at 6PM EST. A valid e-mail address must be provided via registration. Registered attendees will receive information on how to join the event via e-mail. PLEASE NOTE: When registering, you will be asked if you would like your contact information and a brief organizational bio to be distributed to participants of PEO(T) Virtual Industry Day. Once you indicate �Yes,� that information will go onto a list of participants and your contact information and organizational bio will be distributed to all on the list. In the course of the Industry Day, Q&A, and 1-on-1�s, companies are responsible for informing the Government of any information that they view as proprietary and that should not be released.� Additionally, companies should not include any proprietary information in questions for which they would like Government response, because the Government must try to provide a response that is available to all attendees.
