- Statement of Requirements for Microscope Cameras Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service Kansas City VA Medical Center Kansas City, MO Intent: Kansas City VA is requesting six high performance microscope cameras with capture and analyze software for the pathologists that are VA OIT TRM approved. This is a Name Brand or Equal to the Lumenera's INFINITY5-5 camera requirement. Microscopy camera must have at least 5 megapixels to provide high speeds at high resolution Camera must perform in a wide range of applications. Must have fast focusing at high frame rates of up to 75 frames per second Camera must have dual output to HDMI and high-speed USB 3.1 or USB 2.0 to allow connection to both a computer and HDMI TV or monitor for applications where knowledge sharing is critical. Camera must provide simultaneous Live Viewing on Computer and HDMI Monitor. This is, the camera can directly connect to an HDMI monitor, or to a PC via USB 3 for image preview and capture Camera software must allow for routine imaging needs, including camera setting adjustments, live preview, image capture, and video clips. Camera must ensure accurate color reproduction Camera must include full five-year warranty on all microscopy cameras Camera must have Sony Pregius global shutter sensor technology color or monochrome IMX252 Global Shutter CMOS sensor with 2/3 optical format providing a resolution of 2464 x 2056 using 3.45 x 3.45 m pixels Camera must be having selectable 8 or 12-bit pixel data On-camera buttons for power, white balance and image capture Software must be compatible with Windows 10 and 64-bit operating system Camera must have a coupler of 0.6x - 0.7x Must include TWAIN driver for direct acquisition via LIS On-site training of pathology staff upon completion of installation Calibration of the equipment must be included The capture and analysis software must be VA OIT TRM approved Vendors providing a quote to this requirement shall provide a Cerner Compatibility Statement (CCS)from the OEM of the equipment. The CCS must include the following: An OEM attestation that the product proposed is Cerner verified. The statement must be dated within 60 days of the quote to ensure it is recent and accurate. A list of healthcare organizations that have deployed the device/system with the Cerner EHR. Details related to any data to be transmitted to Cerner. The statement must provide an OEM point of contact for questions or concerns related to Cerner compatibility. The proposal must declare if the device/system does not connect to the network or electronic medical record. Vendor bids that do not include a CCS directly from the OEM will be disqualified. Delivery and Installation Contractor shall deliver all equipment to the Kansas City VA Medical Center Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, Anatomic Pathology Section, room M1.481 at 4801 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, Mo 64128. Vendor shall install the equipment. Package items to prevent damage or deterioration during shipment, handling, storage and installation. Equipment Needs: Name brand or equal to Lumenera's INFINITY5-5 camera (INF5-5C).
