- Description
- The Richard L Roudebush (RLR) VA Medical Center Research Development function requires the purchase of one (1) 14 wide x 65 modular rodent vivarium with one (1) unit to be installed on RLR Indianapolis Medical Center property. Vivarium must include all necessary floor, wall, and roof structures, HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical systems, exterior wall, roofing systems, exterior finishes, interior finishes, etc., installed and made ready for operation. Must include overall plan, design, engineering and layout for each vivarium suitable for research. The modular unit must include a minimum of three defined interior spaces optimized for a procedure room and two rodent rooms utilizing Allentown NexGen 80-cage single-sided and 160-cage double-sided racks. Vendor must be able to provide evidence of similar structures in use by Research Institutions accredited by Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) and be able to deliver to site within 120 days of order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than 16:00 EST on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 . A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
