Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to Capewell Aerial Systems, LLC Meadows of Dan, VA 24120. This award is to provide repairs and maintenance to 280 Survival Egress Air Emergency Breathing Bottles, 2ND AA Battalion, and Camp Lejeune, NC. Justification for the Sole Source is due to the requirement for repair, maintenance, and overhaul of the Breathing Bottles. Cage Code: 71304; Reference NAICS Code: 332710. CLIN 0001 Quantity (280) each, Technical Representative, Refrigeration, Air conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment.�� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.�� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.. Reponses submitted via facsimile will be sent to Patricia Quinones at (910) 451-2193 no later than 12 April 2021, 4:00pm, and must clearly identify this notice on the first page. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that the quote reaches the designated Contract Specialist on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. Responses may also be submitted via electronic mail to Patricia.quinones@usmc.mil no later than 12 April 2021, 4:00pm The vendor bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile or electronic mail transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any quote was received.
