Solicitation Number: FA8121-21-Q-0006 NAICS: 336412 FSC Code: 4710 Subject:� Spares Buy of the F100-PW-229 Tube Assembly, Metal NSN: 4710-01-341-2072NZ P/N: 4069543 Description:� The Government intends to issue a sole source solicitation to Pratt & Whitney CAGE 52661 on 23 April 2021 with a close date of 24 May 2021 for the spares buy (supply) of the F100-PW-229 Tube Assembly, Metal.� The requirement is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Quantity contract.� This notice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such.� The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per USAF PR FD2030-21-00413 as follows: 1) Function:� A single or multi-piece item of nickel alloy construction, specifically designed to operational bleed air for the Augmentor Fuel Pump.� Dimensions:� Length:� 18.0000 IN���� Width:� 5.0000 IN���� Height:� 5.0000 IN���� Weight: 2.000 LB.� This is a CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI), MQR-PSD-1 and EIM-1 apply. 2) Set-aside: This is not a small business set aside. 3) List of applicable CLINs: CLIN 0001:� Supply of NSN(s): 4710-01-341-2072NZ P/N: 4069543 Noun:� Tube Assembly, Metal Quantity Range:� 3 - 15 EA �*Quantity will be validated at time of award Delivery is anticipated to be: 3 units on 01 SEP 2023 3 units on 01 OCT 2023 3 units on 01 NOV 2023 3 units on 01 DEC 2023 *Early delivery is acceptable. 4) Quality Requirements: Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements, AS 9100 5) Engineering Instructions: Find applicable Engineering Data List (EDL) and Engineering Instructions (EIM-1) attached. 6) Qualification Requirements�� Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.��To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements, MQR-PSD-1.��The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs) and/or approved manufacturing sources.�Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible.��If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the solicitation is closed, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 7) Export Control Requirement: Yes 8) IUID: If unit price exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
