These glasses are powered by Tiny Circuits Part Number ASR00011 70mAh Li-Poly batteries with reverse polarity wiring (hereafter referred to as batteries). These batteries must be carefully removed from the glasses, a process that requires some effort, and then replaced with new batteries. The old batteries must be disposed of appropriately, and the glasses must be reassembled without any damage, as NVIDIA no longer produces these models and the glasses are not replaceable. Note: the two versions of the glasses have slightly different procedures for removing and replacing the batteries. Additionally, the glasses must be received via mail carrier and the glasses with new batteries back must be shipped back to the units of origin. 2.0 Description of Program Requirements The Government is conducting market research to determine sources that can provide solutions for battery replacement services meet the outlined requirements below: Procure up to 500 batteries (the exact quantity is to be determined, based on the quantity of glasses requiring battery replacement). Confirm that any materials procured as part of the battery replacement are in compliance with the Trade Agreement Act (TAA). Receive the glasses via mail carrier and then ship the glasses with new batteries back to the units of origin. Battery replacements must take place with minimal, if any, damage to the glasses. Some cosmetic scratches, nicks and indentations may occur to the plastic casing of the glasses, but the intent is not to damage the glasses structural integrity, wearability, or active shutter functionality which enables 3D viewing. 3.0 Required Information Your response should include a description of the solution and resources that would be used to meet the above requirements.
