- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for a (Naraxon- Ultium System) for the Washington DC VA Medical Center (688), 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1 as implemented by VAAR 813.106-1 (Authorized or Required by Statute), Sole Source Awards to a Small Business, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Company Name: NORAXON USA Address: 15770 N. Greenway Hayden Loop, Suite 100 Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Phone: 480-443-3413 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (334510) and the Business Size Standard is (1250) employees. It is the Government s belief that the Brand name Ultium System exceeds and meets the service s unique requirements. It has multiple unique characteristics, that will benefit vital Veterans patient research to improve the quality of life for our Nations Veterans. Market Research did not result in Ebuy or FBO interest. Patient care would be negatively impacted at the Washington DC VAMC. The estimated base value of this acquisition is approximately ($17K). The estimated award date is on or before 4/16/2021. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 1300 PM Eastern Time (4/15/2021). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
