Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 - ALEXANDRIA In Support of the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) REQUEST FOR QUOTE 36C25621Q0716 Medical Air Control Panel Replacement. �This requirement is total set aside for SDVOSB purchase.� Background: The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) requires replacement of the medical air control panel to support COVID-19 patient care. �Place of Performance: Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 250 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA. 71101.� Item # Description/Part Number/Service* Qty Price Extended Amount �0001 Work to include replacement medical air cabinet System Health, TPX 10HP, 208VAC unit. Currently the system does not allow for compressor alternations. New control panel must alternate compressors on start or every 15 minutes while running. Replacement systems must provide continuous monitoring at the Boiler Plant Control Room, PBX and Warehouse. Alarms must be in compliance with NFPA. Contractor to provide an alternate control box for use while replacement is ongoing to ensure continued operations. Any needed modification to the cabinet feed power will be the responsibility of the contractor. �Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name or EQUIVALENT as listed is salient characteristics below: ITEM SPECIFICATIONS FEATURES: The Contractor shall hold and save the Government, its officers and agents, free and harmless from liability of any nature occasioned by the Contractor�s performance. �REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this Request for Quote is to establish pricing restricted to certified SDVOSB sources. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: Please respond to this RFQ if you can provide the exact brand name products listed in the table. In the response please cite your business size status. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response. DISTRIBUTORS: You must provide proof that you are an authorized distributor. VA does not accept grey market items. Please respond to this RFQ if you can provide supplies that may be determined EQUIVALENT to the products listed in the table in the background. Please provide details on the proposed EQUIVALENT products such as Manufacturer Name, Part Number, and Description. Vendors are requested to submit pricing with their responses. The pricing will be considered when determining fair and reasonable pricing and the best value to the government. Please note that if no responses to this notice are received, from either authorized distributors of the cited brand name nor from manufacturers marketing a potentially equivalent brand, then this action will be sole sourced to the manufacturer cited in the Background section above.
