Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit General Electric (99207), Lynn MA, for the extension of current PBL contract from a four-year period of performance to a four-year and six month period of performance. The Government intends to contract on a sole source basis with General Electric (99207). GE is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only source capable of providing PBL support. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336412. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.301-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. One of more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements (FAR 52.225-3). One of more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. (FAR 52.225-5). These items require Government Source Approval prior to award. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure which can be obtained on the internet at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsupwss/business_opps. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements precluded the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of this requirement may be continued based on Fleet support needs.
