Sources Sought Information Request Form � Project Name: Military Funeral Honors Bugler � Brief Description: The contractor shall provide a trumpet, cornet, or bugle, with mouthpiece, pitched in the key of B-flat to play �Taps�. The contractor shall provide all services on an as needed, if needed basis. The Government Agency estimates the following number of funeral services may occur based on historical data, however, the Government Agency makes no guarantee as to the amount of services that may be required of the contractor. The contractor shall be present at the gravesite on the date, time, and location specified by the Agency�s designated funeral director. The contractor will arrive at the gravesite at least 30 minutes prior to the service and remain at the site for approximately 120 minutes or until completion of the gravesite ceremony, whichever comes firstThe contractor shall be present at the gravesite on the date, time, and location specified by the Agency�s designated funeral director. In cases where the gravesite service is delayed, the contractor shall only be required to remain at the gravesite for up to one and one � hours from the scheduled time of the service.� The contractor may remain until completion of all gravesite services; however, the contractor shall agree and understand that no additional compensation will be made by the Agency. The contractor must follow the directions of the ranking military representative present at each funeral service regarding the physical location and timing of the performance of �Taps�. At the specified time, the contractor shall perform �Taps� on the trumpet, cornet, or bugle.� The rendition of �Taps� played by the contractor shall be similar in musical style and interpretation to the recording located online at:� http://bands.army.mil/bugle/taps.asp. The contractor may perform at more than one funeral service per day if the contractor�s services can be coordinated with adequate time in between funeral services.� In the case of multiple funerals at the same location, the contractor�s services shall be separated by 60 minutes or more, unless the Agency and the contractor mutually agree on a reduced time between services. The solicitation will be available during this Fiscal Year. Will I be able to submit a proposal for this project? A3: Any contractor can submit a proposal and it will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the solicitation.
