NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE 405-21-3-7441-0107 � Service Contract for maintenance and services for CareFusion Pyxis� prescription medication dispensing system serving the Medicine and Nursing Services at White River Junction, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), One VA Center, Togus, Maine 04330 Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 01, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 1 (New England), 623 Atwells Avenue, Uncas Bldg., Providence, RI 02909, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1) with CareFusion Solutions LLC., 3750 Torrey View, Ct., San Diego, CA 92121-2579 (DUNS 801397204) Service Contract for CareFusion Pyrix� Prescription Medication Dispensing System to include labor, parts, components, supplies, and software updates serving the Medicine and Nursing Services at White River Junction (WRJ) VA Medical Center for a Base Year and one (1) Option Year.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement within 3 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
