Description

This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only.� This proposed action is for the procurement of a Purchase Agreement for HECO-Pacific Manufacturing, Inc., for the 412th Electronic Warfare Group for Edwards AFB, CA.� The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed procurement will be Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 493110.� Size standard is $30,000,000.� The proposed source is HECO-Pacific Manufacturing, Inc., 1510 Pacific Street, Union City CA 94587-2099.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.� However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within five (5) days of this notice.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows HECO-Pacific Manufacturing, Inc., is the sole company for the storage of the 120-ton hoist.� HECO-Pacific Manufacturing Inc., shall provide the storage for the 120-ton hoist in accordance with standards for the United States Air Force. Contractors must be registered in System for Award (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Please reference F1S0AX1019A002�in all email correspondence.
