- Description
- The Law Enforcement Safety and Compliance Directorate (LESC)�on behalf of Operations Support (OS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit proposals in response to request for proposal (RFP) 70B06C21R00000036 for Inert Laser Training Aids. The Government intends to make a single indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award resulting from this solicitation. However, the Government reserves the right to make additional awards if it would be in the Government�s best interest. The anticipated contract will be issued with a five (5) year ordering period. All items are defined in the statement of work (SOW), which will be included with the RFP. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside by posting to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339920, (Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing), is determined to be appropriate for this project. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about April 14th, 2021. Potential proposers MUST register at https://beta.sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential proposers are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines prior to award.
