- Description
- The Maritime Expeditionary Security Group One Training and Evaluation Unit is looking for contractor support services to provide MAREXSECGRU TEUs a support team of Subject Matter Experts experienced in specialized Coastal Riverine Force skills and operations in order to primarily execute HRT in the course of training MAREXSECFOR companies, platoons, patrol boat crews, and other special purpose maritime security teams in Coastal Maritime operations, HVU protection, combat shooting techniques, tactical vehicle and convoy operation, Expeditionary Designated Marksman EDM), Ground Operations, Small Unit Tactics, Embarked Security Team (EST), and Aircraft Security Teams (AST), and critical time-intensive administrative functions. The Draft PWS is attached. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego is the contracting office that anticipates issuing respective solicitation. This procurement is anticipated to be a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of one base year plus two one-year options. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611710 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5M. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to locate and identify Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Businesses able to perform the required services. Interested sources are invited to respond to this notice by demonstrating Technical Capabilities (not to exceed 10 pages not inclusive of cover page) in word of PDF formats that summarizes relevant experience, knowledge and capabilities consistent with the effort described in the Draft PWS. The technical capabilities will be evaluated on previous and/or current experience. Interested firms are requested to submit responses via email to Jorge.cubas2@navy.mil no later than 1000 19 April 2021. Proprietary data will be protected when so designated. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be made. This is NOT a request for proposals (RFP), Invitation for bid (IFB), or announcement of solicitation. This request is for INFORMATION purposes only. No cost data should be submitted. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. Submittals will not be returned to the senders. Responded will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. NAVSUP FLC San Diego will utilize the information provided for technical and acquisition planning only.
