- This is NOT a solicitation for quotations or proposals. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest (NAVFACSYSCOM SW) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of available sources capable of meeting the Government�s need for new construction and repair of asphalt and/or concrete roads, parking lots, sidewalks and associated work at various locations throughout Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Pendleton, California and Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station (SB NWS), Fallbrook Annex, California.�The Contractor shall have capability to perform new construction services and repair of asphalt and/or concrete roads, parking lots, sidewalks and associated work on MCB, Camp Pendleton and SB NWS, Fallbrook Annex, California.�The type of work may include, labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision and field investigations of the existing conditions, removing, patching and repairing of existing deteriorated asphalt and cement concrete paving, including base materials from road and parking areas. The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct and or repair and revitalize roads, parking areas or sidewalks. The work will include but not limited to cleaning and repairing existing cracks, asphalt overlays, slurry seal, installation of new asphalt, new aggregate base, cold milling of existing paving and emergency repair work. The work also includes site work incidental to paving, including but not limited to clearing and grubbing, excavation and earthwork, storm drainage systems, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, wheel stops, reflective markers, striping, signing and some demolition, disposal, as well as other incidental repairs and repair of any damages to the site caused by the related work. It also includes related project types as fully detailed within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code listed below. The scope of work requirements will include one or a combination of specific project requirements to be issued as task orders under the resultant contract. The primary work requirements will be for paving construction services and/or minor construction requirements related to work as described in this announcement and NAICS 237310. The Contractor shall comply with the current Department of Labor wage decision(s) that will be incorporated into the resultant contract. The Contractor shall pay all workforce performing paving construction services under the resultant contract as applicable to the Davis Bacon Act (minor construction). Various work projects historically required for this contract may include but are not limited to the following: new construction and repair of asphalt and or concrete roads, parking lots, sidewalks and associated work, etc.
