PR number: FD2030-20-02029 Solicitation Number: SPRTA1-21-Q-0168 Materials: New Material NSN: 2840-01-4472846PR Case,Turbine,Aircraft P/N: 1276M30G02 Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB Max Quantity: 5 ea Application: F110 AMC: 1/C History: Yes Delivery: On or before 1 May 2022 Commercial Item: No Surplus Authorized: No The purposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and compete with only a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Currently GE Aviation (cage code 07482) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Since GE Aviation is currently the only approved source a letter request for proposal will be posted. The technical data package is attached to this synopsis. Qualification requirements apply. Contract award will be made only if the product/service, manufacturer, or source meets the qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested offerors are encouraged to submit Source Approval Requests (SARs) as soon as possible as the Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending SARs. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR package upon contract award, then the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. If competition is received a revised solicitation will be posted to include Section L and M.
