Description

This is a presolicitation notice, therefore, no response is required at this time. The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement entitled, �Research & Development (R&D) Support for Chemical/Materials and Sensors/Systems Development� on or about April 29, 2021. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.� The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) for this effort is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology), which has a size standard of 1000 Employees. NRL will use the competitive procedures established under FAR Part 15 and DFARS Part 215 for this competitive acquisition. NRL intends to award a single Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF)�contract to fulfill this requirement.� The anticipated�Period of Performance for this contract is�one (1) twelve-month base period with four (4) twelve-month option periods. The RFP will be posted to this beta.sam.gov website on or about April 29, 2021.� All responsible small business sources�may submit a proposal in response to the RFP.� All Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
