Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation procurement action for professional boat support services in Knik Arm, out of Anchorage, Alaska to deploy and retrieve acoustic moorings with optional 2 days if needed per the attached performance work statement (PWS) included in this request for quote (RFQ) NMFS AKR-21-0414 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 532411 � Commercial Air, Rail, and Water Transportation Equipment Rental and Leasing � Size Standard $35 million - and is a Small Business Set-Aside. The objective of this contract is for professional services for a boat and operator to deploy in May and retrieve in the fall 2021, four acoustic moorings.� During each of the boat trips, the operator/captain will take up to three NMFS AKR approved scientific crewmembers with the deployment and retrieval of four acoustic moorings. Each day will consist of no more than five hours of work during daylight hours, with a trip between the boat launch and the field operations by the Port of Alaska in Knik Arm, out of Anchorage, Alaska.� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � See attached full RFQ with all terms and conditions which all contractors must be in compliance with to be eligible for award. Contractors must provide their Will or Will Not and Does or Does Not Statement per FAR Provision 52.204-24 which goes with FAR Clause 52.204-25. NOAA NMFS Alaska Regional Office of Management Division (OMD), requires that all contractors and vendors doing business with OMD be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).� NO award can be made unless the contractor and vender is registered in SAM.� For additional information and to register for free in SAM please access the following web site: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
