- Veterans Affairs (VA) Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC) Facility Maintenance Support THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS NOTICE 36C10X21Q0102. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested under this solicitation number. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC) is a federally-owned Office of Information Technology (OIT) facility, located on the VA Medical Center (VAMC) campus in Martinsburg, WV. The facility is a single story building of approximately 66,300 gross square feet (gsf) in size. The facility includes office space, mechanical and engineering space, and a 9300 square foot data floor. The CRRC is part of VA National Data Center network and has a mission-critical role in that network. The facility is a 24/7/365 operation. The emergency electrical power system is critical to the readiness objective of the mission. Only the highest standard of competency and workmanship will be accepted to perform this important task. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary for the monitoring, maintenance, and repair of building components, structures, emergency electrical power system, and the associated diesel fuel storage plant and fuel delivery and transfer components. All systems shall be maintained according to manufacturer s recommendations for service level and interval. Demonstrated best practice may be considered based on actual use and application. Under no circumstances shall any systems be removed from service prior to notification of affected parties. All necessary training and certifications to maintain these systems and associated equipment shall be provided by the vendor. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms who are capable of performing the requirements under the categories described in the solicitation when posted. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) data base and complete online Reps and Certs at https://www.sam.gov/. All SDVOSB offerors must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in VetBiz at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov to be eligible for award. All details, including question and quote due dates, etc. are included in the solicitation.
