Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This competition is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05 dated 16 February 2021 and Defense Publication Notice 20190628 dated 15 January 2021. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for a Cryostat with 1 year warranty, including a loaner machine if needed to be sent for repairs.
