Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price order to General Atomics, San Diego, CA, under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-16-G-0006, for the development and implementation of nine (9) Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Cable Running Sheet (CRS) revised drawings to support the operation of the AAG systems of the Ford Class of Carriers.� This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(l), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.� This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0471.� The redacted CJ&A is attached to the announcement.�
