The Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency � Missile proposes to place the NSN under this PRON onto the existing Raytheon IDIQ contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 with Firm Fixed Pricing (FFP), MODEM, FIBER OPTIC, NSN: 6030-01-655-0965, Part Number: 13657177-5 applicable to the Patriot weapon system. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) for PRON D10H0056D1 without First Article Testing is 390 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT BLISS, TX 79916-5801. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) for PRON D10H0056D1 with First Article Testing is 855 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT BLISS, TX 79916-5801. PRON: D11H0010D1. The Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency � Missile proposes to place the NSN under this PRON onto the existing Raytheon IDIQ contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 with Firm Fixed Pricing (FFP), LEFT BAR, AIRCRAFT, NSN: 1730-01-500-8450, Part Number: 11474553 applicable to the Patriot weapon system. The estimated Production Lead Time (PLT) for PRON D10H0056D1 without First Article Testing is 360 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT BLISS, TX 79916-5801. These items are restricted to: Raytheon Company, Cage Code 54X10. The AMC/AMSC Code is 3C for PRON D10H0148D1, NSN 6030-01-655-0965 and 2C for PRON D11H0010D1, NSN 1730-01-500-8450. For this acquisition the following AMC /AMSC 2C and 3C codes are defined as follows: AMC /ASMC 2C: Suitable for competitive acquisition for the first time. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. If one source is approved, AMCs 3, 4, or 5 are valid. If at least two sources are approved or if data is adequate for an alternate source to qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, AMCs 1 or 2 are valid. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
