Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W912CN-21-Q-JK01 and this solicitation is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-96, effective 06 November 2017. (iv) This is a Full and Open competition solicitation and the associated NAICS code is 335999. (v) A list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: Modification to solicitation:� Changes that were made was the type of batteries for Fort Shafter location, Redhill location, and MLO location.� Changes were made to the PWS (review PWS for changes). 1.3.1 Fort Shafter, building 1292, replace EATON model 9390 (Serial Number EJ115CBC03) batteries. ��������������� - BLDG 1292, QTY: 40 � Powerware UPS battery 13.5 volts, 280 watts per cell (EATON BATTERY REPLACEMENT) 1.3.2 Red Hill, building 186, replace EATON model 9355 (Serial Number BJ064XX05) batteries. ��������������� - Red Hill QTY: 32 � Eaton UPS battery 12.0 volts 180 watts per cell (EATON BATTERY REPLACEMENT) 1.3.3�� Mauna Loa Observatory (MLO), Land Mobile Radio shelter, replace EATON model 9170 (Serial Number BJ051T0024) batteries. - MLO, QTY: 200 UPS batteries (20 strings) 12.0 volts, 7.5 A/H (YUASA BATTERY REPLACEMENT) 1.3.4 Bellows Air Force base, Land Mobile Radio shelter, replace three (3) EATON model 9130 rack mounted UPS (Serial Numbers GJ301A0383, GJ301A0384, and GJ285A0363) and six (6) battery modules.� Replacement units must� have the same physical characteristics and equal or better power characteristics.� Additional Information. 1. Fort Shafter battery says Float Voltage 13.5 - 13.8V. Rating 280 Watts per cell 2. Red Hill battery says Float Voltage 13.5 - 13.8V. Rating 120 Watts per cell 3. The zip codes for each location is MLO is 96785.� Fort Shafter is 96858.� Red Hill is 96818. 4. There is no loading docks at any of the locations. 5. The batteries cannot be shipped to one place as a central place of storage. 6. There is no storage facilities for the batteries. 7. Carts will not be provided.� (see attached PWS) 8. There is no docks or holding stations.� Fort Shafter is about 150 feet to parking lot.� Red Hill is about 40 feet.� MLO is about 15 feet. 9. There is no restricting doorways or obstacles at any of the locations, but the Red Hill site has stairs. 10. The locations are not on the same island. MLO is on the Big Island and Red Hill, Fort Shafter, and Bellows are on Oahu. See attached PWS. (vi) Description of requirements to be acquired: Purchase of UPS battery.� The Contractor shall provide personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, materials, disposal and other services necessary to perform battery replacement for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system(s). (vii) Date and place of delivery and acceptance and FOB destination: No more than 30 � 45 days. Replacement of batteries location is on the PWS. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, will be used, and the specific evaluation criteria included are technical and price. ** Basis for Award: The request for quotation uses streamlined acquisition procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 as authorized. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from competitive quotes received in response to this solicitation. The quote will be evaluated for a fair and reasonable price. The award decision will be based on the lowest priced offer meeting solicitation requirements, such as terms and conditions, salient characteristics, and representations and certifications in order to be eligible for award. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
