- Description
- This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). United States Naval Hospital (USNH) Yokosuka requires a computed tomography (CT) contrast injector for use by the Radiology Department during routine and emergent CT procedures with intravenous contrast. The system shall be ceiling-mounted and feature integrated auto load, auto retract, auto prime, and auto syringe sensing. The injector shall have dual syringes, each with a capacity of at least 200 mL. The system shall be capable of syringe fluid heating. Flow rate range shall be inclusive of at least 0.1 � 10 mL/sec. Delivery pressure range shall be inclusive of at least 40 � 325 psi. The system shall be capable of saline flush, dual flow, extravasation detection, and air detection. For operator control, the system shall include a touch screen monitor with real-time flow control, real-time pressure reading, protocol memory and at least 6 hours of history memory. Operator workstation shall be included. The system shall be capable of full integration with the currently installed GE Optima CT660 at USNH Yokosuka. The system shall be capable of a scan delay range inclusive of at least 0-300 seconds. The system shall be capable of a pause range inclusive of at least 1 - 900 seconds. The system shall be capable of maximum hold time of at least 20 minutes. The system shall include two (2) operator manuals and two (2) service manuals in English and Japanese. The equipment shall be operable at 100VAC, 50 Hz. Vendors are given the option to deliver to Naval Medical Center (NMC) San Diego. Transportation of the equipment from NMC San Diego to USNH Yokosuka can be arranged by the Government. Direct shipment to USNH Yokosuka by the vendor is preferred and is an enhancing factor. The system, including claims made for the product, shall be compliant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, with respect to marketing and delivering medical products for use in the United States of America. These requirements shall apply even if delivery is requested outside of the United States of America. The system shall be installed in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. Upon delivery, the contractor shall be responsible for uncrating the unit/system, transporting it through the facility to the location of intended use for installation, and removing of all trash created in this process. The vendor shall be responsible of de-installation and removal of current equipment. If interim storage is required, the vendor shall make arrangements for the storage.
