Description

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for�calibration services on the reference equipment that the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) uses to calibrate, test, and troubleshoot meteorological and oceanographic sensors that are deployed on NDBC operational stations to collect data for weather, hurricane, tsunami, and climate forecasts, modeling, and warnings. Please be sure to carefully review and follow the Offeror Instructions in the solicitation documents. The NAICS code for the action is 334519 and is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns. The government intends to procure supplies using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The government requires al contractors doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: www.sam.gov. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number, which may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet online at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform or by phone at 1-866-705-5711.
