Description

NPS has received higher-than-expected interest and inquiries regarding this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI). This, combined with the need for caution during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, has necessitated changes to the procedures, contact information, and submittal date described in the original notice at beta.SAM.gov. Please carefully read the entire�Amendment (attached) for changed procedures, updated contact information, and submittal date. All are reminded that this RFEI process is NOT a solicitation for proposals that would lead to award of a lease, contract, or any other legally binding authorization.� NPS has created a new mailbox for leasing property at Glacier National Park: glac_leasing@nps.gov. All future correspondence should be directed by email to this new mailbox. The mailbox was created to handle the greater volume of correspondence than expected and to allow others to assist with correspondence. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated. Because of the higher-than-expected interest and inquiries, we recognize you may not have received a direct response confirming your interest or answering your questions. You must submit all questions to glac_leasing@nps.gov no later than 4:00pm MT on May 15, 2021. We will answer all questions publicly via another Amendment to the RFEI, posted to beta.SAM.gov within a week of the question deadline. We recommend you please save your questions to submit in writing until after April 28th. It is expected that your visits to the properties will generate a host of new questions. � �It is clear that many more people than we expected are interested in coming to the park on April 28th to see the properties. If you plan to come to the park on the 28th, we respectfully request that you RSVP by email, only (glac_leasing@nps.gov). The formal �Site Tour� will now be an open house and self-guided tour. Only those who RSVP to glac_leasing@nps.gov will be provided with additional information about the Open House and Self-Guided Tour, even if you have previously emailed your intention to do so. � Submission Address and Deadline:�Please email your Expression of Interest response by 4:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time, June 14, 2021, to Jennifer Parker, Chief of Commercial Services, National Park Service Interior Regions 6, 7 & 8, at glac_leasing@nps.gov. This is a change to the deadline.
