Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal being requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06. This solicitation is for the procurement of Electric and Hydraulic Patient Lifts and Slings for in home use. The Government seeks to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite quantity contract that will run for a period of 60 months from the date of award. The requirement is solicited as Full and Open. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for the procurement of these items is 339113 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The government will only establish an award with the firm that complies with the criteria listed in the Minimum Technical Requirements (MTR), offers a competitive price, and who the government determines represents a benefit to the government. The Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract(s) from this solicitation. This acquisition is under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, FAR Part 16.504 Indefinite Delivery and FAR Part 16.505 Ordering. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://beta.sam.gov/ . The Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, supplies, and materials to provide the Electric and Hydraulic Patient Lifts and Slings and the associated deliverables as stated in the solicitation. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Place of Performance: Multiple locations throughout the continental US, Hawaii and all l US Territories; delivery location(s) will be defined per each order. Period of Performance: Date of Award through 60 months. Electronic copies of the required submission material shall be provided to the Contract Specialist, Michelle Bailey at michelle.bailey@va.gov . Offers are to be received no later than 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on April 15, 2021. No Facsimile quotes will be accepted. The offeror is responsible for ensuring that the contract specialist has received the offer before the deadline for receipt of offers, and the government will not be responsible for delays or failures of either the contractor s email system or the Government s email system.
