Description: The purpose of this requirement is to provide the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Intramural Research Program (NIDA IRP) Translational Addiction Medicine Branch, Clinical Psychoneuroendocrinology and Neuropsychopharmacology Section (TAMB/CPN) conducts addiction-related translational research. A combination of pre-clinical, animal, and human clinical research is used to develop novel effective addiction treatments and precision medicine approaches. This includes studies on the intersection between addiction and health disparities.
