- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Trane U S Inc. 2333 158th Court NE Bellevue, WA 98008. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 (b). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be for one year from date of award. This is a non-personnel services contract for replacement of�the evaporator heat exchanger in a Trane 60 ton chiller unit, model CGAF60 NAICS 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance PSC J035 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Service and Trade Equipment THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities, and provide a quote to respond to this requirement no later than April 21, 2021 12 PM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than April 20, 2021 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
